Beezy is one of our favorite boarders (in the center chasing Parma)! He loves to play in the pool with Parma and Jackson and is silly all day making new friends! His dad rescued him this year from the SPCA and we think they make a great pair. Every week a staff member asks, "is Beezy coming to play this week?" Yes, we love Beezy!
Mrs. Johnson, one of our amazing clients, found this beauty on Johns Island and brought her into our clinic. She was emaciated, covered in ticks but ever so sweet and curious. We were able to track down some information from her microchip but the person denied having any association or adopting her.
So, she's going to be staying with us for a while! We've decided to give her the much needed TLC and socialization she needs (and some food, and meds, and flea treatment etc)
She is a very sweet and submissive lady and cautiously curious about everything. We will be looking for an extremely special forever home once we're able to learn a little more about her medical condition and personality.
As of 5/16/14 she has had a bath, all the ticks pulled, some pain medication and antihistamines, a NEGATIVE (yay!) Heart worm test and no intestinal parasites seen though still dewormed to be safe. And of course lots of love and food.
After a lot of TLC and fostering with one of our technicians, we are please to announce that Lucy is available for adoption! She is up to day on all shots, great with cats, and ready to find her furrever single dog home! (She likes to be the only dog to fill your heart with love).
Just take a look into those eyes, what's not to love about Lucy?
Thank you everyone!
Sweet Lucy stretching out before her walk! If you would like to adopt Lucy, please contact us via phone, e-mail (email@example.com) or find us on Facebook!
Mrs. Dempsey was adopted last year from Pet Helpers by Courtney. She recently celebrated her 18th birthday and is a great example of why adopting an older animal can be so rewarding. In her spare time, Mrs. D enjoys napping in the sunshine, shedding, modelling her sweater, and snuggling with her catnip mouse toy.
