Maybank Animal Hospital

Maybank Animal Hospital, Boarding and Day Care is a full-service small animal veterinary hospital and boarding facility providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide full-service boarding and day care for dogs and cats! Our facility houses a comprehensive pharmacy, in-house laboratory, full imaging services including X-ray and ultrasound, and a centrally located hospitalization area allowing us to monitor your pet at all times. In addition, we offer fantastic boarding and daycare.

Our goal is to provide the best medical care possible. Our in-house laboratory allows us access to results in as few as 10 minutes that may take 24 to 48 hours from an outside laboratory. Every ultrasound performed in-house at Maybank Animal Hospital is sent to a board certified cardiologist or internist that provides a full case review, consultation and treatment recommendations. Our in-house hospitalization area is centrally located to allow close and constant supervision. All of this allows us to develop a more complete course of action and allows us to begin the right treatment right away. Combined, we are often able to diagnose, begin treatment and still have your furry friend back at home for supper.

Maybank Animal Hospital has a dedicated surgery room. Our anesthesia protocol is the same as your physician uses. All patients are fully monitored during any procedure. Monitoring consists of: blood pressure, EKG, respiratory rate, heart rate and core body temperature. A board-certified surgeon is also available for more complex cases.

Maybank Animal Hospital constantly strives to offer the best in dental care. We are aware how oral health affects overall health. In addition to normal cleaning and extractions, we offer techniques to increase bone regeneration and periodontal ligament repair. This allows us to minimize extractions. All procedures are done under full anesthesia using the same comprehensive monitoring we use in surgery.

For those cases that do require outside referral, we maintain close relationships with the local specialty hospitals. These hospitals communicate with us frequently and keep us up to date on all treatments and procedures that are performed.

Our boarding facilities are top-notch. We have climate-controlled indoor enclosures, indoor/outdoor runs and a dedicated cat room. Everyone is walked at least three times a day and three areas are available for group playtime. Whether you are away for the day or the week, we can provide the exact services you need.

At Maybank Animal Hospital, it is our goal to maximize the quality years that you have with your four footed friend by ensuring the highest quality of care and compassion.
